CARE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR REFINISHED SURFACES

Your Countertops and/or bathtubs have recently been refinished.  Please carefully read the following information:

Since we use the Best products available, we believe in the quality of you countertops/bathtub.  Special care is needed to better the life of the surfaces. Here are some suggestions of how to clean and maintain the surfaces.

COUNTERTOPS:

For normal everyday cleaning, we suggest the use of a mild soap and water with a soft washcloth or sponge.  DO NOT use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, they will dull the surface.  DO NOT use any cleaners containing BLEACH, Ammonia, or Chlorine.  Always read individual cleaners instructions prior to using them on any surface.  Always rinse area thoroughly after cleaning.  Although the clear coat can withstand high heats, DO NOT place hot items directly on countertops.  DO NOT cut directly on surface.  Your surface will be ready to use after 48 hours, however as with any resurfacing use caution.  It takes at least 7 days to fully cure.

Recommended cleaning products for countertops:

  • 409

  • Fantastic

  • Simple Green (diluted 50% with water)

BATHTUBS:

Always use a non-abrasive type cleaner or a mild detergent cleaner. 

DO NOT use BLEACH, Ammonia or Chlorine based cleaners, as it will discolor the surface. 

DO NOT use scour pads or steel wool. 

DO NOT use bathmats of any source, including non-slip stickers, and/or suction cup pillows or soap dishes.

DO NOT wash clothes in Bathtub or leave wet clothing items on tub. 

Report and Repair all leaks right away, or surface may bubble. 

We recommend the use of a hanging shower caddie or basket to eliminate shower items from sitting on the bathtub edges. 

Your surface will be ready to use after 24 hours, however as with any resurfacing use caution.  It takes at least 7 days to fully cure.

  • 409

  • Fantastic

  • Lysol tub and tile cleaner

  • Windex

The special care listed above is important in maintaining the quality of your surfaces.
